The only reason this place gets one star is for the great waitress we had. Leanne was great and joked with our table and was prompt.
The Service was great, though as we all recieved the bill and asked to add the 2 cups to the bill and they literally said “ Sorry we can’t sell it cause they kept getting stolen.” I understand that though that couldn’t of spent two minutes explaining befor we orders the 40 dollar drinks. It was also a fact where on the site that they were available I he site. Plus the manager was a total jerk about it not once did he say sorry or offer a discount in the four cups we ordered. Make sire to ask the jerk befor buying your forty dollar drink.
The food was so so. You’d honestly get better food at Olive Garden. Fun for the novelty but do yourself a favor and save your money for something better.
The hostesses were rude as well. We didn’t make a reservation so we asked if they had any general seating and she said yes but that we’d have to wait in line. She then pointed to said line. There wasn’t anyone in it. Ok maybe there was a wait to be seated. We moved to said line and she came over to us and seated us right away.
Come for the crazy cocktails and goblets. It's a cool experience. Don't come to eat dinner. Scott the bartender is awesome.
Smoke and Mirrors.. The Sugar Factory definitely lives up to its name and if you are in need of a sugar high this is the place. Sugary drinks $36ea and fancy over the top desserts. Now for the down and dirty.. looking around as we ate most people will get a burger of some sort.. starting at $13 - mine was overcooked small with no taste even though "Grass Feed" - i think it was frozen and thaw'd badly, bun was hard on the edges like it was stale? Great Fries and plenty of them cause that' s what you will fill up on. The 4 of us had a burger meal and 1 fancy sugar drink that my daughter and boyfriend shared - great presentation taste was well not my thing. The wife and i drank water and for dessert 1 fancy dessert that again my daughter and boyfriend shared - glamorous $17 for mostly vanilla shake with fudge frozen to the outside of the glass with popcorn stuck to it and lots of whip cream from 3/4 the way up the glass spilling over the top - you get the picture. Again smoke and mirrors $125 Never Ever Again.... there is a reason i don't frequent Foxwoods cause every time i go i feel like i left my wallet behind.
However everything is pretty expensive, which was expected for a casino restaurant. But what really got me was everything was absolutely filthy. Sticky floors, tables and chairs. I went to scoot my chair in and my hand came back coated in only what can be assumed as melted cotton candy.
I made a reservation several weeks in advance noting it was my son's birthday yet we still waited 20-25 minutes for our table. I told the waitress when we were seated that we were celebrating my son's birthday. The item on the menu he wanted was sold out so he got a steak- only to learn they were out of A1 (REALLY??) after they brought it to him. The non alcoholic drinks with dry ice are $25. But we were celebrating so I let the kids get them. The candy in the goblet was correct but she poured the wrong drink in the glasses. My kids tasted them and when she came back they told her. She had them switch glasses and got new candy for my son as he had eaten his. Honestly that was not a big deal BUT for $25 each- get them new drinks... We got the check and I had to tell the waitress again it was my son's birthday.. was supposed to be a special occasion and it felt anything but special.
