If I could give a lesser rating, than I would. My experience at this spa was absolutely horrible and I would not recommend their services to anyone. I wouldn't even go back if they gave me a free massage.
My only complaint, they allow children in the pool, so good luck relaxing around the pool, which is beautiful by the way.
I love this place, the hair salon is wonderful, massage experiences have also been well worth the money, excellent attentive staff.
Had a fantastic massage
It's child free after 6pm I believe!!.
Came here with my 11 year old. We had reservations for the fox towers but decided to come to this pool because it was raining and to my knowledge at the time fox towers only had a outdoor pool... We went to the spa to get the day pass and the heavy set customer service rep tried to charge me $10 more than the price...after i questioned her she played as though she had to check i the system if the price went up suddenly then she. I could be wrong but i felt as thought she was intentionally over charging me...the atmosphere was depressing being that it was many older people that took over the seats and hot tub
So my company rented out all the empty hotel rooms in all the hotels at Foxwoods, including the one that the Norwich Spa is in. Therefore, during the couple of days we were there the spa was packed. Since all massages were booked until after my stay, I decided to go with something new.... a facial! The woman who did my facial was nothing but rude to me the entire time of my hour facial. I felt the tension in the room but had ignored it because lets face it.... I was there to relax. During my facial however she continued to rudely comment on imperfections on my skin. Please note: I am 25 years old so the imperfections are very minimal. It really caught me off guard when she continued to insist I do something about my skin. The way she was talking about it you would have thought I had the plaque. Anyways, after that nightmare of a facial she told me to get up and get dressed. But before she left she gave me a 15 minute lecture on how I should be so grateful that she loves her job and the next time I go to that spa to get a treatment that I actually want. I cannot even explain my shock! My jaw just dropped. I have never ever been so insulted and I really had no idea where she got this whole idea from. She was rolling her eyes at me... You would have thought I was her sister in law as to how she was behaving! When I was paying at the front the woman cashing me out was a manager. I kindly said to her that I was a little thrown off by the woman who did my facial. I gave her the quick story of how the woman blasted off on me about how she hates when people get services they don't want? To surprise me even more, the manager looked at me like I had four eyes. I remember asking her, "Do you understand what I am saying"? I was just trying to relay a quick message about my new experience at that spa and trying out something new. Seems as if the manager wasn't much better than the other lady either. Oh well, nothing to really loose sleep over. I understand different industries can be tough. For me..... I was just upset I paid a good about of money to deal with the entire spa departments PMS cycle. Fair warning: enter with caution.
