Finally, Our Lady of Lourdes offers a weekly Latin Mass. My Bride and I find this Mass to be such a blessing and a chance to really participate in the mystery of the Mass in a contemplative manner that puts the Eucharist first and foremost.
We also have a great fondness for Father Feeney, the associate. He is one of the best of this "new generation" of Catholic priests who are well rooted and focused on the Catechism and the Magisterium. And he is an awesome confessor.
A few reasons.
This is the best Roman Catholic church you could ever go to. It's a friendly enviroment and the Priest is very funny. The choir is fabulus and it is not only adults there is also a children choir. The church is also not just for adults children are also welcome. The church sermon is traditional yet easy to understand. If you live in or are visiting the Gales Ferry/Ledyard area I would recomend this church to you.

I have attended several Novus Ordo Masses celebrated by Father Brian and Father Feeney and they do a wonderful job at officiating over the Mass that so many are accustomed to.

The pastor and the associate pastor are solid men and excellent priests. They have their priorities right and lead a dynamic and active community of parishioners.
My wife and are are active and devout Catholics. We live some 20 minutes away from Our Lady and there is a Catholic church a 3 minute walk from our doorstep. Why do we make the journey?
A solid 5 star parish. If you are interested in the Latin Mass, it is offered every Sunday at 1400 hours (2 pm).
